Tutterrow allows one hit in 14-0 win

Tanner Tutterrow allowed only one hit on the mound to lead Meridian’s baseball team to its 14-0 victory in four innings against Lynden Christian on Thursday, April 16, at Meridian High School.

“Obviously he set the tone for us,” Meridian coach Steve Slesk said in a phone interview. “He threw a good game and the kids have swung the bat well.”

Trojans Brady Moore went 2 for 3 with a double, Tanner Tutterrow went 2 for 3 with a double and Devyn Holmes went 2 for 4 with a double. Josh Heutink went 1 for 1 with a walk to lead Lynden Christian at the plate.

Meridian will take on Sehome next at 4 p.m. Tuesday, April 21, at home. Lynden Christian takes on Cashmere next at 1 p.m. Saturday, April 18, on the road.
