Trojans’ rally twice with 2 outs to top Pioneers

Meridian scored all of its runs with two outs and took an 8-4 Northwest Conference win over Nooksack Valley on Monday, March 30, at home.

Erick Price was 2 for 3 with three RBI and a double, and Brenton Fox was 1 for 3 with a double for the Trojans. They got the two-out, seven-run rally started in the fourth, Meridian coach Steve Slesk said in a phone interview.
