McDowell’s bat lifts Sehome to 10-6 win

Carissa McDowell went 4 for 4 with two doubles, four runs and three RBI to lead Sehome’s softball team in a 10-6 win against Sequim on Saturday, March 21, at Daniels Field.

The Mariners’ Mallory Kruzich earned the win, and Sequim’s Bents received the loss.

“We hit the ball well in the game,” Sehome coach Jim Emerson said in a phone interview, “a pretty good performance from Mallory. For six innings she was sharp.”

Morgan Henry went 2 for 4 with two doubles, three runs and three RBI in the game as well for the Mariners.

Sehome takes on Anacortes next at 4:30 p.m. Tuesday, March 24, at home.
