Lynden falls to Mark Morris 4-3

A few runners left on base may have been the difference in the game for Lynden’s baseball team in its 4-3 loss against Mark Morris on Saturday, March 21, at Mark Morris High School.

Anthony Garcia received the loss for the Lions, but that didn’t matter to Lynden coach Cory White.

“Our pitching was outstanding. Anthony did a great job and Dalton came in and did a good job. It was the best we’ve seen Dalton throw all spring,” White said.

Dawson Ohligschlager went 1 for 2 with a two-RBI double in the game.

“Overall I thought it was two equally matched teams. Exactly what you want for a non-league contest,” White said.

Lynden takes on Meridian next at 4 p.m. on Tuesday, March 24, at Meridian.
