Ferndale’s boys’ and girls’ track and field teams competed at the Wesco 3A North Championships on Friday, May 15, at Oak Harbor.
Because the Golden Eagles compete in the Northwest Conference, they were able to race among their classification in the prelims, but only Wesco teams qualified for the finals in events.
Prelims were run on Wednesday, May 13.
In finals for field events, Ben Broselle had the top mark in the javelin with a throw of 187 feet, nine inches.
