Hayes and Rowe take No. 1 doubles in Blaine’s 5-2 loss to Anacortes

Mandy Hayes and Emily Rowe defeated their opponent in straight sets at No. 1 doubles in Blaine’s 5-2 girls’ tennis loss against Anacortes on Wednesday, May 6, at Blaine High School.

“Mandy and Emily really moved around the court well today,” Blaine coach John Freal said in a phone interview. “They ran down just about everything.”

At No. 3 doubles, Borderites Breanna Chau and Kjirstin Larson defeated their opponent in two sets.
