Bellingham edges Squalicum at North Bellingham

Bellingham’s girls’ golf team had two golfers in the top five to take a Northwest Conference win on Tuesday, May 5, at North Bellingham Golf Course.

Alex Ferrier shot a 93 and Sadie Steele had a 95 for the Red Raiders, which posted a season-low team score of 503.

Squalicum was second with a pair of its own top-five finishers — Christina Kim (89) and Maddi Atwood-Knudson (92) — for a team score of 520.

Blaine was fourth with 655, led by Cassidy Justason’s 116. Meridian took fifth with 657 and was paced by Anna Ratzlaff’s 97.

Lynden took sixth, but Jade Ming shot an 81 to take the medalist position.
