Neria leads Lynden at Keith Jewett Invitational

Jasmyne Neria helped Lynden’s girls’ track and field team to three event wins a third place finish at the Keith Jewett Invitational on Saturday, May 2, in Ellensburg.

Neria won the 400 with a 58.48-second run, beating the next runner by 2.67 seconds. She also helped the 4x100 and 4x400 relay teams to wins.

Hailey DiLorenzo, Lily Bogart and Cassidee Barclay were also on the 4x100 team that won with a 50.85, and the team of Neria, Bogart, Barclay and Mya Sires won the 4x400 with a 4:11.79.

The other Lynden winner was Alexa Shindruk in the 1,600 with a 5:38.25. She also took second in the 3,200.
