Trio of county schools compete at Lake Washington Girls Invite

Sehome, Bellingham and Ferndale competed in the Lake Washington Girls Invite on Saturday, May 2, at Lake Washington.

Sehome tied for 20th overall with 11 points. Bellingham and Ferndale tied for 43rd with five points.

No local participants won any events, but Ferndale’s Gabriella Gould was fourth overall in the pole vault with a height of 11 feet even.

Sehome’s top performer was its 4x400 relay team of Dana Ringler, Katrina Dank, Elsa Sandeno and Bridget Henry with a fourth place finish in 4 minutes, 8.24 seconds. Henry also took fifth in the high jump with a height of 5 feet, 2.0 inches.

Bellingham’s 4x100 relay team of Emma Brice, Mia Hodges, Annie Waddell and Hattie North took fourth with a 50.21, matching their best time for the season.
