Ferrier shoots an 83 to lead Bellingham’s 8th place finish at Suncadia

Alex Ferrier shot an 83, her best score of the year, to lead Bellingham’s girls’ golf team to an eighth-place finish out of 23 teams in the Suncadia Invitational on Tuesday, April 28, at Suncadia Golf Course.

Ferrier’s score was good for fifth overall in the invitational. Ephrata’s Kenedee Peters was the medalist with a score of 73.

Erin Wood shot a career-best 91 for the Red Raiders to help lead the team to its score of 372. Sadie Steele shot a 97 on the day.

Bellingham will compete next at 3 p.m. Wednesday, April 29, at Lake Padden Golf Course.
