Ton and Limbach earn comeback victory in Squalicum’s 4-3 win

Thu Ton and Stefanie Limbach had a comeback victory of 1-6, 6-4, 6-0 to lead Squalicum’s girls’ tennis team to a 4-3 victory against Sedro-Woolley on Monday, April 27, at Sedro-Woolley High School.

“It was a good strong comeback in that match,” Squalicum coach Joe O’Brien said in a phone interview. “We made a couple of adjustments and it worked. They played better and improved.”

The No. 1 doubles team consisting of Kim and Rachel Dorr defeated their opponent 6-1, 6-0 to stay undefeated.

Squalicum will play Lynden next at 3:30 p.m. Wednesday, April 29, at the Lynden YMCA.
