Lynden Christian’s boys’ track and field team finished in 10th place with a team score of 27 on Saturday, April 18, at King’s High School.
Nathan Rusnak finished seventh in the 100 with a time of 11.94 seconds. David Martin finished fifth in the 400 with a time of 53.45 in the running events.
In the field events, Terrel Brown finished third in the shot put with a mark of 42 feet, 2.25 inches. David Bladies finished fifth in the discus with a mark of 116-00, Rusnak finished fourth in the pole vault with a mark of 10-06 and Stephen Cummins finished third in the triple jump with a mark of 39-08.50.
Lynden Christian will compete next in the Northwest Conference championships at 3:30 p.m. Friday, April 24, at Civic Stadium.
