Trent Postma won two events to lead the Lynden boys’ track and field team to a second-place finish on Saturday, April 18, at Franklin Pierce District Stadium.
Postma won the 400 with a time of 51.28 seconds and ran the anchor leg of the Lions winning 4x400 relay team with a time of 3:31.66.
Lummi’s Enrique Medina finished second in the 3,200 and fourth in the 1,600. Medina ran a time of 10:19.34 in the 3,200 and a 4:42.89 in the 1,600.
Lynden will compete in the Northwest Conference championships next at 3:30 p.m. Friday, April 24, at Civic Stadium.
