Sehome at Nooksack Valley softball

Monday, April 20

The Mariners and Pioneers halfway through the season have established themselves as two of the top teams in the NWC. Nooksack Valley ace Alexis Pike (above) will look to pitch her club to a big home win but will have to navigate Sehome’s hard-hitting lineup.

Anacortes at Bellingham baseball

6 p.m.

Tuesday, April 21

The Red Raiders have turned their season around after a brutal start. They’ll have a shot to knock off one of the Northwest Conference’s premier teams in a top-flight matchup at Joe Martin. Expect Brad Johnson (above) to play a role in the game’s outcome.

Squalicum at Burlington-Edison soccer

6:30 p.m.

Thursday, April 23

No two Northwest Conference teams have been better this spring than Squalicum and Burlington-Edison. The Storm needs to get its offense going to leave Burlington with a win . Carlos Tovar (above) should help the Storm produce goals.

Lynden at Bellingham soccer

7:30 p.m.

Thursday, April 23

The Lions and the Red Raiders are jockeying for position in the upper half of the NWC. Bellingham will need to slow down the NWC’s leading scorer, Nicholas Parris, and Per Wolfisberg (above) will be making sure Lynden’s backline stays strong.

3:30 p.m.

Friday, April 24

Every league track and field athlete will be looking to establish themselves as the best competitor in the NWC during the annual conference meet. Camille Christenson (above) should help add points to a very talented Sehome girls’ team with her strength in the jumps.
