Ming medals at Homestead to lead Lynden’s victory

Jade Ming shot an 84 and was the medalist to lead Lynden’s girls’ golf team in its first-place finish with 700 team score on Wednesday, April 15, at Homestead Golf Course.

Ming capped her day off with a 30-foot putt for a birdie on the ninth hole, Lynden coach Curt Kramme said in a phone interview.

Maddie Kramme contributed a score of 132 for the Lions in the tournament.

Sedro-Woolley’s Kelsey Johnson finished in second place, shooting a 114 on the day. Hannah Peterson took third with a 118 score for Sehome.
