Lynden’s Ezra Arneson and Alex Crabtree shot the lowest score ever recorded at the Triple 6 Boys’ Golf meet on Thursday, April 14, at Avalon Golf Course. The duo shot a 66 in the combination of alternate shot, scramble and best ball.
Arneson and Crabtree’s 6-under par led the Lions to a first place finish by one shot over Sedro-Woolley. Lynden had 147 points and Sedro-Woolley had 148.
Ferndale was third with a 150 team score. Dane Larsen and Daniel Erickson shot a 75 for the Golden Eagles, and Kennan Souve and Andy Erickson also shot a 75.
Lynden Christian shot a 160 to take fifth as a team.
