Bellingham, Ferndale, Lynden, Mount Baker, Sehome and Squalicum all make their way down to Skagit County as Burlington-Edison hosts at the Skagit Golf and Country Club. Bellingham, led by Alex Ferrier (above), is a favorite but this should be another proving ground.

The Class 1A state runner-up takes on the favorite to win the Northwest Conference in what should be a thrilling matchup. Aleks Toivola, Tanna Benson (above), Hannah Rothwell, Emily Yost and many more are featured in this star-laden contest.
Bellingham at Squalicum baseball
Thursday, April 16
The two city schools have had somewhat reverse seasons so far. Squalicum, led by Ernie Yake (above), is 10-2 but just3-2 in Northwest Conference play while Bellingham is just 4-9 overall but 4-1 in the NWC. It should be competitive at Joe Martin Field.
Anacortes at Ferndale baseball
Friday, April 17
The Seahawks and Golden Eagles are among the top teams in the Northwest Conference so far this season. Ferndale coach Donny Hennigs brings his competitive squad, laced with talented ballplayers such as Brady Shearer (above) and Kyler Schemstad, into Friday’s game.
Anacortes at Bellingham soccer
Saturday, April 18
In Saturday’s only boys’ soccer game, the Seahawks take on a stingy Red Raiders squad that only allowed two goals through the first five Northwest Conference games. If Noe Betancourt-Cruz (above) hopes to put some offense with that defense.
