Jessica DeVere won the 100 with a time of 12.93 seconds and was part of two winning relay teams to lead Squalicum’s girls’ track and field team against Lynden Christian, Nooksack Valley and Friday Harbor on Thursday, April 2, at Nooksack Valley.
Haley VanderHeiden won a pair of events for Nooksack Valley. She had a distance of 31 feet, 5 inches to win the shot put, and 90 feet to win the discus.
Lynden Christian’s Brianna Bruneau won the 200 with a 27.01 and helped the 4x400 relay team to a win.
Squalicum also had a vault of 12 feet by Kirsten Webber.
