Bellingham’s girls’ tennis team swept all three doubles matches in a 6-1 win over Blaine on Friday, March 27, at Bellingham High School.
Ellie Iwersen and Mariah Miller had a strong match for the Red Raiders at No. 1 doubles with a 6-0, 6-0 win, Bellingham coach Steve Chronister said in a phone interview. Ruby Parker at No. 2 singles also played well in her 6-0, 6-0 win.
Blaine’s lone win came from Saskia Dolk at No. 1 singles who topped Oriana LoCicero 6-1, 6-0.
“Saskia played an excellent match,” Chronister said. “Oriana hit the ball well, Saskia hit the ball a little better.”

Bellingham plays Sehome on Monday, March 30. Blaine faces Ferndale on Monday.
