Lummi’s boys’ track team won three events and placed third with 89 team points in the Northwest 1B/2B League Meet on Wednesday, March 25, at Concrete High School.
The Blackhawks’ Enrique Medina ran a winning time of two minutes, 7.69 seconds in the 800. Hank Hoskins had a winning mark of 39 feet, one inch in the shot put and Trazil Lane jumped a mark of 5-10 to win the high jump.
La Conner won the meet with a team score of 168.5 and Mount Vernon Christian placed second with a score of 115.
Lummi will compete next on Saturday, April 4, in the Bill Harris Invitational at Federal Way Memorial Field.
