Squalicum takes second at Sudden Valley

Tanner Griffiths shot an 80 to lead Squalicum’s boys’ golf team to its second place finish on Tuesday, March 24, at Sudden Valley Golf course.

Burlington-Edison took first with a score of 430, Squalicum finished second with a score of 452, Ferndale third with 455, Sehome fifth with 489 and Nooksack Valley seventh with a 780.

The Golden Eagles’ Dane Larsen medaled in the match with an individual score of 77.

Thomas Mankle led the Mariners, shooting an 82 and Nooksack Valley’s Michael O’Bryan shot a 136 on the day.
