Nooksack Valley’s girls’ track and field team had three throwers finish in the top three in the javelin on Saturday, March 21, in the Seattle Academy Relays at Shoreline Stadium.
The Pioneers’ Kaleiolani Jefferson had a mark of 95-08, Delaney Cop threw a 95-04 and Nicole Whittern threw an 88-00.
Haley VanderHeiden finished second in the shot put with a mark of 31-06.50 for Nooksack Valley.
The Pioneers will be back in action at 3:30 p.m. Wednesday, March 25, at Sehome.
