Lynden at Sehome boys’ basketball

7:15 p.m.

Monday, Feb. 2

Logan Deboo and the Mariners host the Lions in a matchup of two of the top teams in the Northwest Conference. Not only will postseason seeding be riding on the game’s outcome, but Sehome is still in the mix to win a league championship, with Anacortes still to play.

Ferndale at Lynden Christian girls’ basketball

7:15 p.m.

Tuesday, Feb. 3

Makayla Lancaster and the Lyncs march into Ferndale High School with the hopes of leaving with a Northwest Conference championship, but a win gives the Golden Eagles an inside track to winning the league title. Plenty of intriguing matchups highlight this can’t-miss contest.

Lynden Christian at Ferndale boys’ basketball

7:15 p.m.

Tuesday, Feb. 3

Jo Meppelink and the Lyncs will look to get a huge league win over a talented Golden Eagles team. Both clubs are evenly matched, and the game features two of the league’s top scorers in LC’s Zach Roetcisoender and Ferndale’s Austin Honeycutt.

Blaine at Nooksack Valley girls’ basketball

7:15 p.m.

Friday, Feb. 6

Nooksack Valley and leading scorer Mariah Perry host Blaine in a matchup of two Class 1A Northwest Conference teams with postseason aspirations. As the regular-season finale for both clubs, the game could come down to a must-win for the Pioneers.

Class 2A Sub-Regional boys’ wrestling

10 a.m. Saturday, Feb. 7 at Squalicum

The road to the Mat Classic officially begins when Whatcom County’s Class 2A wrestlers look to advance to the regional tournament with strong performances. Lynden’s Jordan Peterson-Scotter will try to advance in the lower weights.
