Sehome’s boys’ wrestling team was able to earn a couple pins despite a 63-18 loss against Sedro-Woolley on Wednesday, Jan. 28, at Sehome High School.
Logan Franey (113 pound weight-class) pinned Levi Chavez at the 5:40 mark and Kyle Clemenson (138) pinned Thor Wagner at 5:35.
“Kyle and Logan wrestled well. They dominated their guys before pinning them,” Sehome coach Scott Schroyer said in a phone interview. “They just kept grinding and grinding. It was impressive.”
Schroyer noted that the team is peaking at the right time with districts coming up soon.
