Squalicum’s bowling team topped Anacortes 612-496, 585-505, 711-494 in the last regular season match of the season on Wednesday, Jan. 21, at 20th Century Bowl in Bellingham.

The 711 in the third match was a season-best for the Storm.

“It was a great note to end our season on,” Storm coach Erin Furda said in a phone interview.

Leading the way for the Storm was Courtney Coppinger who bowled a 506 for the series, which is “outstanding,” Furda said. Scoring personal bests in the third set was Vivian Hua with a 119 and Jasmine Mendoza with a 125.
