Ferndale’s boys’ wrestling team defeated Burlington-Edison 45-28 on Wednesday, Dec. 10, at Burlington-Edison.
The Golden Eagles’ Jack Bartram pinned his opponent in 4 minutes, 13 seconds at the 195 weight class and Devon Bennett pinned his opponent in 3:11 at the 132 weight class.
“We did good tonight, the only thing we need to work on is finishing matches. All our losses were by pin.” Ferndale assistant coach Chet Slavin said in a phone interview.
Ferndale’s next match will be at 1 p.m. on Friday, Dec. 12 in the Battle of the Border at Blaine.
