The Squalicum girls’ bowling team won all three games against Anacortes in mid-week match Wednesday, Dec. 10, at 20th Century Bowling in Bellingham.
The Storm won the first game 580-563, took the second game 599-527 and won the final game 520-479. Squalicum coach Erin Furda said Squalicum’s 599 was a team best.
The Storm were led by Shaye Fowler, who bowled a 169 in the first match, and Cortney Coppinger, who bowled a match-high 170 in Game 1.
“It was a super intense battle that came down to the last frame,” Furda said of Game 1 in a phone interview. “Everybody put in a lot of effort.”

Squalicum’s next match will be on Thursday, Dec. 11, at Bush.
