Sehome’s wrestling team had a strong showing at the Forks invite on Saturday, Dec. 6, at Forks.
Chandler Hintz placed third in the 132-pound weight class, Davis Canfield-Cole placed fourth in the 182 class and Briley Funk placed second in the 285 class after losing the championship in overtime.
“Those three wrestled real well, it was a good first tournament all around,” Sehome coach Scott Schroyer said in a phone interview.
Even though Schroyer is happy with how the team competed in their first match, there are still things that need to be worked on, Schroyer said.
