Sehome’s volleyball team, the Northwest Conference’s No. 1 seed, ended the regular season on a high note, with a 25-12, 25-17, 25-21 win over Anacortes on Wednesday, Oct. 29, at Anacortes.
Megan Greer recorded 23 assists, Emily Greer tallied eight kills and three aces and Dani Johnson got three kills and an ace.
“They looked great,” Sehome (14-0, 12-0 NWC) coach Kristy White said in a phone interview. “We’ve had a little bit of a rocky go for the last week against Squalicum and Bellingham. We haven’t been able to take care of the ball as well as we would have liked.”
But that was not the case Wednesday night for the Mariners, who will enter the Class 2A District Tournament next Wednesday, Nov. 5.

“It was really nice to see going into districts,” White said.
