The Squalicum volleyball team overcame slow starts to each set to defeat Sedro-Woolley 25-15, 25-17, 26-24 on Thursday, Oct. 9, at Squalicum in a Northwest Conference matchup.
“It’s good for them to come back,” Squalicum coach Laurie Quigley said in a phone interview. “We decided to put the ball in play and keep it simple.”
Kate Alvord led the way for the Storm with 10 kills. Kelsey Segren added eight kills, and Hannah Loy had 23 digs.
The Storm travel to face Burlington-Edison on Thursday, Oct. 16.
