The Ferndale boys’ tennis picked up a 5-2 Northwest Conference victory over Lynden on Tuesday, Oct. 7, at Ferndale High School.
The Golden Eagles’ singles players of Maxwell Jeffery, Tate Freeman, Lake Sullivan and Colton Young all won in straight sets.
“It’s a really strong showing in our singles,” Ferndale coach Rudy Vendiola said in a phone interview.
Lynden’s doubles pairing of Ben Mulder and Dakota Davis continue to impress, winning in straight sets.

Ferndale travels to face Bellingham on Wednesday, Oct. 8, while Lynden is on the road against Sehome, too.
