Bellingham rolls past Anacortes 7-0

Bellingham’s boys’ tennis team had little trouble handling Anacortes, defeating the Seahawks 7-0 on Friday, Oct. 3, at Anacortes.

“They (Anacortes) are young and missing a guy or two,” Bellingham coach Steve Chronister said in a phone interview. “They have some kids swinging the racquets pretty well. We have that edge in experience.”

Connor Thompson continues to impress at the No. 1 singles position, winning 6-1, 6-0. Charlie Carmichael is also showing why he’s a threat come playoffs, tossing in a 6-0, 6-0 dominant showing.
