The Lynden Christian volleyball team kept its unbeaten season alive with a straight-set win over Squalicum on Thursday, Oct. 2, at Lynden Christian High School in a Northwest Conference matchup.
Kara Bajema led the Lyncs with 15 kills, but it was Hannah Rusnak who had the impressive night, converting on 13 of her 18 kill attempts.
“That’s a really high percentage,” LC coach Kim Grycel said in a phone interview. “I was happy with them picking it up and finishing in the second and third sets. We did a much better job passing and hitting tonight than we did Tuesday night against Bellingham (in a 3-0 win).”
Carli Tjoelker led the Lyncs with 29 assists.
