Lynden’s volleyball team used good passing and serving to earn a 3-0 win over Sedro-Woolley on Tuesday, Sept. 30, at Sedro-Woolley in a Northwest Conference match.
“We had our best passing average as a team and 16 aces,” Lynden coach Julie Clift said in a phone interview. “It was really a group effort. We had 32 kills together and those were pretty spread out, plus some solid blocking at the net.”
Lauren Roddy had nine kills for the Lions. Alexis Shindruk also had nine kills and added 17 digs. Kaityln Mark added 27 assists and had four of the team’s aces.
Lynden (2-4 overall, 2-2 NWC) will try for another win at 7 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 2, at home against Meridian.
