Tigers too much for Lynden squads

Lynden Christian’s and Lynden’s cross country boys' teams couldn’t get past Burlington-Edison on Wednesday, Sept. 24, at Burlington Airport.

Josh Lingbloom’s third-place finish was tops among the two Whatcom County teams. Lingbloom along with Jon Wiley’s fourth-place finish helped LC to a second-place team finish. Jack VanderGriend, Eric Steiger and David Martin also put in scored runs.

Lynden finished third. The Lions were led by Roscoe Perry, who finished the run 18 minutes, 27 seconds in the 5k race. Keaton Hanson, Cole Crabtree, Jacob Heeringa and Aiden McCaig rounded out Lynden’s top five.
