Lynden’s boys’ tennis team cruised to a 7-0 Northwest Conference win on Wednesday, Sept. 24, at Lynden High School.
“It was two evenly matched teams,” Lynden (2-2, 2-2 NWC) coach Trey Ballard said in a phone interview. “W pulled through some good matches.”
The Lions No. 2 doubles team of Dakota Davis and Ben Mulder was impressive in a 6-0, 6-1 win, Dylan Meenk came through at No. 1 singles with his second win of the year and Tore Olson picked up his first win of the year.
“The doubles team has been a good, solid doubles team throughout the week,” Ballard said. “I would expect them to win almost every time out. It was a lot of fun to watch them hit the ball today.”
