Kirby Overman leads strong Sehome

Sehome’s boys’ cross country team dominated Anacortes, Lynden and Nooksack Valley on Wednesday, Sept. 10, at Nooksack Valley.

Kirby Overman finished first for the Mariners, who had seven of the top eight runners.

“We were happy,” Sehome coach Kevin Ryan said in a phone interview. “We had a plan and we followed it.”

Anacortes finished second, Lynden finished third and Nooksack Valley finished fourth.

Nooksack Valley and Sehome are both participating in the Sehome Invitational Saturday, Sept. 13.
