The Lynden boys' wrestling team pulled out a 42-33 win over Squalicum on Wednesday, Jan. 29, at Squalicum High School.
Christian Mouat, Andy Herrera, James Mitchell, Brody Weinheimer and Logan Brown all recorded pins over their respective opponents for the Lions. In typical fashion, Mouat, who lifted his total wins on the season to 25, did so in impressive fashion.
But his performance notwithstanding, Lynden's coach, Randy Anderson, was impressed across the board by his boys.
"Everybody battled," he said in a phone interview. "We only got pinned once."

So, too, was Squalicum coach Russell Robinson.
"Luke (Jordan) and Cole (Welch) both wrestled real well," he said in a phone interview. "It was a good day - a fun dual. We won the head count, we just didn't win the points count."
Spencer Wallace, in particular, recorded a pin for the Storm in 34 seconds in his first live match after suffering a concussion last week.
