PREP BOYS' SWIMMING: Fish, Parine pace Sehome to win

The Sehome boys’ swim team won all but one event on its way to a 124-54 win over Lynden in a Northwest Conference meet at Arne Hanna Aquatic Center on Friday.

“We had a good meet with a good set of swims,” Sehome coach Don Helling said in a phone interview.The Mariners won all three relays and Austin Fish and Brian Parine each won two events.

Fish swam a time of 2 minutes, 7.16 seconds to win the 200-yard individual medley and finished the 100 butterfly with a winning time of 56.78 seconds. Parine won the 100 backstroke in 1:03.02 and the 100 breaststroke in 1:12.26.

Aaron Korthuis won the 50-yard freestyle for Lynden with a time of 23.99.
