The Squalicum wrestling team notched its second consecutive team title at the King of the Valley Invite at Nooksack Valley High School on Saturday.
The Storm won with a score of 213.5 points, beating out second-place Lake Stevens by 49.5 points. The team finished with two individual champions and 16 placers over all.
Ren Bishop won the 103-pound title for Squalicum to start the championship round and Heron Garcia won at 171.
Other local champions included Nooksack Valley freshman Bonzai Billings at 119, Meridian’s Harris Larson at 125 and Lynden’s Niels Brisbane in the 189-pound bracket.

Lynden finished third as a team in the tournament with 148.4 points, Nooksack Valley was sixth (103.5 points), followed by Sehome (98.5) and Meridian (71).
