Lummi places one on 1B first-team all-state team

Lummi, which advanced to the Class 1B state semifinals before losing to eventual champion Almira-Coulee-Hartline, placed only one player on the Class 1B all-state football team, which was released Tuesday.

Linebacker Isaac Finkbonner was the Blackhawks' lone representative on the first team.

Making the second team were quarterback Dustin Tom, running back Tony Washington, receiver Gale Jefferson and offensive lineman Alex LeClair. Receiver Joe Jefferson, defensive lineman Justin Zollner, linebacker Kyle Finkbonner and defensive back Ray Jefferson received honorable mention recognition.

The all-state team was selected by coaches from throughout the state and was released by Bsports.org.
