PREP WRESTLING: Mount Vernon preview

CAPSULE

Coach: Rex Febus

Outlook: The Bulldogs are struggling to fill each weight class, and Febus says giving up forfeit points at 103 and 112 puts Mount Vernon in an early hole at each dual meet. The teams is led by captains Brad Rabenstein (215) and Danial Osburn (285), both of whom wrestled at the state tournament last season. Febus said he likes the example set by the upper-classmen. “Our leadership is a balanced effort of work ethic among our returning varsity. All in all, I’m pretty excited about our season.”
