Western Washington University defender Brianna Jones was a second-team pick on the BennettRank NCAA Division II Women's Soccer All-America Team announced Thursday, Dec. 4.
Jones, a senior from Bonney Lake, led a WWU defense that had a 0.32 goals against average, allowing just seven goals, and posted 14 shutouts. She also scored three goals and assisted on two others.
WWU finished 16-1-4, suffering its only loss, 1-0 to eventual West Region champion Cal State Stanislaus, in the second round of the NCAA II Tournament.
The Vikings, who were the top seed at the West Regional, won the GNAC regular-season championship and reached the title game of the conference post-season tourney.

Jones was a third-team Daktronics All-America selection and a three-time Daktronics West Region all-star, being first-team in 2013 and 2014 and second-team in 2012. She also was a National Soccer Coaches Association of America West Region all-star for the second time, being first team in 2014 and second team in 2013.
