Western Washington University outside hitter Kelsey Moore has been named the Great Northwest Athletic Conference Volleyball Offensive Player of the Week for Nov. 9-15.
Moore, a senior from Bellevue, had 32 kills to lead the Vikings to a pair of victories in Alaska. She had a career-high 23 kills, including one to break a 15-15 tie in the fifth set, in a 3-2 win at Alaska Anchorage on Saturday. She also had 12 digs and a block in the two victories.
The weekly honor went to Moore for the second time during her four-year career.
WWU, which won in three sets at Alaska Fairbanks, finished the regular season 21-6 overall and placed third in the GNAC standings at 14-4.
