WWU men’s soccer ends season with 2-0 loss to Simon Fraser

Simon Fraser University scored a pair of goals in the second half to claim a 2-0 victory over Western Washington University on Saturday in a Great Northwest Athletic Conference men’s soccer contest at Terry Fox Field on the SFU campus.

After a scoreless first half that included just one on-target shot, that by SFU, the Clan reached the scoreboard just four minutes into the second half, as Jovan Blagojevic scored his 18th goal of the year, finishing off a cross from Alex Rowley.

Ryan Dhillon notched an insurance goal in the 67th minute, scoring after forcing a turnover deep in the WWU end.

SFU had a 24-3 advantage in shots, including a 16-1 margin after halftime.
