Western Washington University outside hitter Rachel Roeder has been selected the Great Northwest Athletic Conference Volleyball Offensive co-Player of the Week for Oct. 19-25.
Roeder, a junior from Sammamish, had 38 kills, five blocks and a .387 hitting percentage in wins over Montana State Billings and Seattle Pacific, as the Vikings ran their winning streak to a GNAC-best seven matches. Roeder’s 38 kills came in 75 attempts with just nine errors.
Roeder is second among WWU players this season in kills with 242 (3.06 average per set) and attack percentage at .236.
Roeder shared the weekly honor with Northwest Nazarene middle blocker Andrea Terpstra.
