The Whatcom Community College men’s basketball team used a big first half on its way to a 92-79 victory over North Seattle on Wednesday at Whatcom.
WCC jumped out to a 53-34 lead by halftime on 80 percent shooting from the field.
Whatcom finished with 23 assists in the game, 13 more than North Seattle, and also won the rebounding battle 39-24.
Offensively, the Orcas were led by Mike Bagby’s 20 points. Steve Webb scored 16, Zach Henifin had 13 points and Zac Andrus and Clint Parks finished with 10 each.
