Lummi's Class 1B state semifinal football game against Neah Bay is underway at the Tacoma Dome.
Lummi took the early lead on a 27-yard pass from Logan Toby to Kaverez Lane, which made it 6-0 with 10:05 to play in the first quarter. Toby followed that up by hitting Dean Williams for an 11-yard touchdown to put the Blackhawks up 14-0 with 6:16 left in the first.
Cody Cummins broke loose from a tack for a 25-yard touchdown to get Neah Bay on the board with 2:05 left in the first quarter, making the score 14-8. That's where the score stood at the end of the first quarter.
Cummins added a second touchdown from 4 yards out with 2:00 remaining in the half, and the two-points conversion put Neah Bay up 16-14.

The Blackhawks had a chance to reclaim the lead, when Devin Cooper set them up at the Red Devils' 27 with a 54-yard kickoff return. Toby found Williams to get Lummi to the 2, but four straight incomplete passes resulted in a missed opportunity.
Josiah Greene started to take over in the third quarter, as he hit all five pass attempts for 98 yards and a touchdown to John Reamer and scored himself from a yard out to put Neah Bay up 30-14 entering the fourth.
