Ski to Sea looking for race volunteers

Ski to Sea, now run by Whatcom Events, was established in 1973 and had about 1,000 volunteers in 2015.

Purpose: Our mission is to maintain a world-class event each Memorial Day weekend to competitors around the greater Pacific Northwest. With the largest multi-sport race in Bellingham, we have the honor to sponsor up to 4,000 racers each year.

Volunteer highlights: We are looking for volunteers for different legs of the race. The legs are: cross-country ski, downhill ski, run, cycle, canoe, cyclo-cross bike, kayak, and the finish line. We also have opportunities before the race for course clearing and equipment transfer. Each volunteer gets a free t-shirt and lunch!

Current volunteer needs: We need volunteers, come join us! Sign up online at skitosea.com/volunteer of contact volunteer@skitosea.com.
