Yesterday I picked up the phone and found myself on a phone town hall meeting with the state representatives as well as Sen. Erickson. After listening for a few minutes I submitted a question about what programs were not going to be funded or cut in order to balance the budget given the Senate’s unwillingness to consider new taxes. The response was that given the tax revenues expected it wasn’t going to be a problem. When the phone rings next time and it’s what turns out to be elected officials, I think I’ll pass.
